Modern Warfare 2

Here we go again. We finally are seeing Infinity Ward and Activision team back up to bring us the sequel to one of the best games on any next generation system. When announced that Modern Warfare 2 would be hitting stores in late 2009 there was a surge of excitement throughout the gaming community. Back in May Modern Warfare 2 topped E3's charts for the most anticipated games of 2009.

MW2 will of course present gamers with new perks, levels, graphics, story line, and better overall gameplay. Of course multiplayer COD could fill up an entire blog its self, but testers have been extremely impressed with the transition between games. Unfortunately for those who were looking to try out a demo of the game, your wish will not come true. Infinity ward has stated that a demo will not surface and they are keeping their entire focus on the slated November release.

2009 has seen its fair share of decent games but this title will no doubt top the charts in every aspect. Check back for updates regarding COD over the next couple months as release dates get closer and the holiday season approaches.

Uncharted 2: Among Theives

A Playstation exclusive, Uncharted 2 is set to blow gamers away. As we approach the fall/winter season we can already see some games that are going to stand out above the rest. Games like Modern Warfare 2, Assassins Creed 2 and Uncharted 2 are on top of the fall season rush.

With a fantastic story and visuals that will set it apart from others by far, Uncharted 2 is the second installment in the series from acclaimed producer Naughty Dog. The game revolves around Nathan Drake, a treasure hunter with a knack for finding himself in trouble. Drake embarks on a new adventure to discover what actually happened to the lost fleet of Marco Polo and to uncover the secrets of the Himalayan Valley of Shambala.

For those who are veterans of the series you are already familiar with the gameplay, but for those who are new get ready to experience a game with a deep story line, action, graphics, and complete control of Drake. Hang from ledges, take cover behind trees and walls, and waste enemies with a wide range of guns.

Uncharted 2 is a must in any Playstation owners library. Whether your looking for tons of action, a great story, in depth characters, or just a fun way to past the time. Uncharted provides all of theses and will not disappoint.
